Cancellation of July 2nd, MCL Det 597 General Meeting
The Marine Corps League President Ronald Reagan Detachment #597 has cancelled it's July 2nd general meeting which was to be held at the Elks Lodge #2492 on Kuehner Drive in Simi Valley.
This is due to the suggestion of Ventura County and the state of California about social distancing, wearing masks at most times and limiting the number attending a function. Your Board of Directors do not want to put anyone in harm's way, now that the infection is affecting folks of all ages as well as many of our members who are over 65 years of age and still are most vulnerable.
The possibility of having a meeting using the ZOOM app via computer or cell phone has been suggested and will probably be implemented in the near future.
Be safe, the Commandant and the Board will advise you of the next meeting date once determined.
